One of the keys to have beautiful hands is the care that with give to them every day. The best way to keep beautiful hands is with an easy and fast manicure done at home. In this post we give you the steps and tools you need for a DIY manicure. To make a complete manicure you will need a cuticle nipper, nail file, cuticle pusher, nail polish (colour of your preference), top coat, polish remover, cotton and moisturizing cream. Remove any traces of nail polish: removing the polish and cleaning your nails well you can avoid them turning yellow.
File the nails: Give them the desired length and shape with a file.
Applies cream: Apply a little moisturizing cream on the cuticles to soften them.
Add a few drops of oil: Put almond oil in a bowl of warm water and insert your fingers for a few minutes.
Dry your fingers: Take your fingers out of the water and dry them with a towel, then push back the cuticles. If they are very thick or long, it is best to cut them with a cuticle nipper previously disinfected.
Exfoliate your hands: To make your hands look softer, exfoliate them with a product or mix 1/2 cup of strawberries and 1/4 cup of sugar to massage them. After five minutes rinse with warm water and dry them.
Apply a fortifier treatment: To strengthen your nails and prevent them from breaking easily, apply a fortifier treatment on them.
Paint your nails: apply two layers of your favourite polish and a layer top coat to maintain the colour and make them shine.
Dry your nails: let your nails dry for a few minutes.
